In Harvest Moon: Back to Nature, you must talk to each Harvest Sprite twice to ask for their help on the Farm.
If they have at least 2 hearts, they will help during Summer, Fall, and Winter. They can harvest crops, water the fields, or take care of livestock.
Harvest Sprites start with 2 hearts and lose 2 Affection points each time you ask them to work.
The easiest way to maintain their Affection is to give them plenty of Flour and attend their Tea Party in Spring.
Each Sprite has a hidden skill level that starts at 0 and can reach a maximum of 255. They have a separate skill level for each of the three types of work they can perform.
