Power Berries in Harvest Moon: Back to Nature are items that increase the character’s Stamina.
There are ten Power Berries that you can find in HM BTN. In addition, there is also a Mystic Berry, which helps reduce Fatigue (FAT).
If you manage to obtain all of the berries, the character’s Stamina will become stronger, allowing you to perform activities throughout the day.

1. Cedar Tree
On the first day, you can immediately go to the Mother Hill area with an Axe. There is a lone Cedar Tree there.
Cut down the tree with the Axe. At that moment, the Cedar Tree will speak and beg you not to cut it down.
Stop cutting the tree. As a reward, you will receive a Power Berry. However, if you choose to keep cutting it, you will pass out and wake up at the Clinic.
2. Waterfall Mine
The Waterfall Mine is located next to the Hot Springs. There is a cave behind the waterfall. Enter the cave and dig using the Hoe. If you are lucky, you will find a Power Berry.
Its location cannot be determined because this Power Berry is placed randomly. You can find it from the first to the tenth floor.
3. Harvest Goddess
On the first day, I recommend buying crop seeds from the Supermarket. Then, plant the seeds until they produce crops.
Once they have grown, set aside 5 harvested crops to offer to the Goddess. Put the crops in your Rucksack, then throw them in one by one until the Goddess appears.
As a thank-you, she will give you one Power Berry.
4. Swimming Contest
A Power Berry will be given to you as a prize if you win the swimming contest during the Opening Day Festival. This event takes place on the first day of Summer at Mineral Beach.
Tips:
Save your game beforehand in case you lose the race.To win this competition, simply press the X button quickly until your character’s face becomes “straight yellow,” then press and hold the Triangle button until the face shows a “smiling yellow” expression.
Repeat this cycle to win the contest.
5. Outside the Winter Mine
During Winter, you can walk across the frozen lake at the bottom of Mother’s Hill. Look for the cave located in the middle of the lake.
Then, go to the side of the cave entrance. Once you reach the spot, press the X button to pick up the Power Berry.
6. Winter Mine
You can dig for another Power Berry while mining inside the Winter Mine. Unlike the Waterfall Mine, this mine can only be accessed when the surrounding lake freezes during Winter.
Dig the ground with the Hoe to find valuable items. Usually, the Power Berry can be found as deep as the third floor.
7. Mineral Beach
When Winter arrives, go to Mineral Beach to fish. You can access the beach through Rose Square.
During this season, you can obtain a valuable Power Berry.
Tips:
You can obtain the Fishing Rod from Greg at Mineral Beach. You can find him at the pier between 7 AM and 10 AM on weekends.
8. Anna’s Gift
If you plant at least 91 flowers in your Farm field, Anna will visit your house after 12 PM on the day the flowers bloom.
Choose “Give her all she wants” when she asks to take some flowers home. As a reward, she will give you a Power Berry.
Flower seeds can only be purchased from Won’s shop. Meet Won at the Inn, buy 12 bags of flower seeds (100 flowers), then plant them in the field until they bloom.
9. TV Shopping
A Power Berry is sold for 5,000 G on the TV Shopping Network. The Power Berry becomes available after you purchase all the cooking utensils.
Once a week, you can use the telephone at the Inn to order one item from the TV Shopping Network.
Don’t forget to watch the TV Shopping Network first before going to the Inn.
Zack will deliver the Power Berry to your house three days after you order it.
10. Exchange Medals
A Power Berry can be exchanged for 1,001 medals at the Horse Race. This Festival takes place on Spring 18, between 10 AM and 2:50 PM at Rose Square.
You can obtain medals by talking to Mayor Thomas and betting on the horses participating in the race.
You can also bet on yourself in the Horse Race if you decide to participate in the event. You will earn a large number of medals if you win the race.
Mystic Berry
Some players refer to this item as the Secret Berry, Special Berry, or Mystic Berry. We are not sure which name is correct, but what matters most is its function, which is to reduce Fatigue (FAT).
To obtain this item, plant one bag of Cucumber seeds, which can be purchased from the Supermarket.
Cucumbers will grow and be ready to harvest in 9 days. After that, take three Cucumbers and go to the lake at Mother’s Hill.
Throw the vegetables into the lake from the correct position. If you miss, Kappa will not appear.
Kappa will appear after 1–2 Cucumbers have been thrown. He will ask you to stop throwing them. You can ignore his warning and continue by throwing the last Cucumber.
After that, Kappa will appear and give you a Mystic Berry while asking you to stop throwing items into the lake.
You can only do this between 11 AM and 4 PM. Kappa will not appear outside these hours. Also, make sure your throwing position is correct.
