However, one of his readers misunderstood the information in the guide and ended up eating poisonous mushrooms.
The reader then sent Basil an angry letter. Basil is unsure how he should respond to the letter, so he asks for your opinion.
- Positive Answer: “Explain Their Mistake” (+20 FP with Basil)
If the reader did indeed make a mistake, Basil needs to explain what they did wrong and guide them in the right direction. After all, that is his role as an expert.
Basil thanks you for your advice and decides to write an appropriate response to the reader’s letter.
- Negative Answer: “Apologize to Them” (-10 FP with Basil)
Basil begins to wonder whether he failed to explain the contents of his book clearly enough. He feels that this may have caused him to lose some of his confidence.
Basil then asks you to leave him alone for a while.
