In Harvest Moon: More Friends of Mineral Town, you can collect seven achievement rings that are counted as Heroine Points.
The same system is also featured in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, but each ring obtained awards 30 Farm Degree points.
When you obtain a ring, the game displays a notification on the screen. However, the ring does not appear as an item in your inventory.
Instead, each ring you have obtained is recorded on the Farm Profile page in the main game menu.
The Shopping Master Ring is obtained after making 35 purchases from the shops in Mineral Town. Once this requirement has been met, the ring will be delivered to the mailbox at your house.
How It Works
Obtaining this ring is based on an internal counter (shop counter) that tracks the number of shop transactions.
The counter increases by 1 each time you open a shop, complete a purchase, and then close the shop menu. The required target is 35 transactions.
Unlike regular letters, the ring appears in the mailbox without any notification.
The new mail indicator above the mailbox will not appear, so you must check the mailbox manually to confirm whether the ring has arrived.
If the transaction counter exceeds 35 before the ring is collected from the mailbox, the ring will temporarily disappear.
The ring will reappear when the counter reaches the next valid multiple.
Easiest Method
One of the easiest ways to obtain this ring is by purchasing Chicken/Rabbit Fodder from PoPoultry. In contrast, Water, which costs 0 G at the Inn, does not count as a transaction.
The steps are as follows:
- Go to PoPoultry.
- Open the shop menu and buy one bag of Chicken/Rabbit Fodder.
- Close the shop menu, then return home and check the mailbox.
- If the ring has not appeared, repeat the process by purchasing one more bag of fodder, then check the mailbox again.
- Continue until the transaction counter reaches the required number and the ring appears in the mailbox.
Since you cannot see the value of the internal counter, purchases must be made one at a time until the required number of transactions is reached.
Save and Load Method
Alternatively, you can save the game before making your first purchase at PoPoultry.
If the ring does not appear after one transaction, load the game, then make two transactions, closing the shop menu after each purchase. Repeat this process until the ring appears.
If you do not mind making more purchases than necessary, you can also save the game after each transaction so that the transaction counter continues to progress.
Alternative Method
Another method discovered by players uses Van’s Favorite. Collecting Van’s Favorite from the mailbox resets the transaction counter to 0.
After that, make 35 purchases of Chicken/Rabbit Fodder at PoPoultry, closing the shop menu after each purchase. After the 35th transaction, the Shopping Master Ring will appear in the mailbox.
This ring can be obtained during the Valentine’s Day or White Day festival.
During both festivals, a marriage candidate with a Purple Heart (10,000 LP) or higher will visit your house to give you a gift.
On Valentine’s Day, you will receive Chocolate, while on White Day, the gift will be Cookies.
The ring is given by the first marriage candidate who visits your house, provided they have a Yellow Heart (40,000 LP) or higher.
For Kai, the ring is delivered by mail if he meets the same Love Point (LP) requirement.
If you are already married before either festival takes place, this ring can also be obtained from your spouse.
If you are not married, spend Starlight Night on Winter 24 with Brandon, Cliff, Doctor, Gray, or Jennifer to obtain this ring.
These five characters are the marriage candidates who celebrate Starlight Night at your house.
The other marriage candidates will not give you the ring before marriage. Rick also does not give the ring because his Starlight Night celebration takes place at PoPoultry with Lillia and Popuri.
Some players have also reported obtaining this ring after getting married. On Starlight Night, their spouse, Karen, gave them the ring after their child had grown up and joined the celebration.
This ring is obtained after marrying one of the eligible marriage candidates.
To obtain it, fulfill all marriage requirements, including raising your relationship to a Red Heart, completing all Heart Events, upgrading your house, purchasing the Big Bed, and obtaining the Blue Feather.
Use the Blue Feather to propose. If your proposal is accepted, the wedding ceremony will take place seven days later. After the ceremony is over, you will automatically receive this ring.
You will receive this ring from your spouse on your first birthday after marriage.
Enter your house after 6:00 PM to celebrate your birthday with your spouse, and you will receive the ring.
It is recommended not to choose a birthday that falls on the same day as a dinner event after marriage, such as the Pumpkin Jamboree (Autumn 30) or Starlight Night (Winter 24), as those events will take place instead of your birthday celebration.
The 10th Anniversary Ring is obtained after celebrating your 10th wedding anniversary.
On your tenth wedding anniversary, your spouse will hold a celebration at your house, and the ring will be automatically added to your ring collection after the event ends.
Carry the Pedometer in your rucksack to track the number of steps you take. This ring is obtained after the step count reaches 10,000,000 (10 million).
The easiest way to meet this requirement is to move your character indoors so that in-game time stops.
After that, use a rubber band or tape to hold the controller’s left analog stick against a wall so that your character continues walking, then leave the game running.
If you are playing on a console, make sure the Auto Sleep option is disabled so that the game does not stop automatically.
