Basil is one of the characters in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town (SoS: FoMT). He lives with his wife, Anna, and his daughter, Marie.
Basil is a plant enthusiast who moved to Mineral Town to study the plant biodiversity around Mother’s Hill.
He has written many botanical books and plans to write another book about the unique plants found around town. His works can be read at the Library next to his house.
His daughter, Marie, allows anyone who wants to borrow these books to do so.
Because Basil spends much of his time inside the house writing, you rarely find him outside. They say that if someone does what they love, they will never work a day in their life.
Basil finds it ironic that his love for plants and the outdoors has led him to write about them. However, his priority of documenting the local plants leaves him with little time to go outside.
