Enter the Workshop and you will see Gotts looking somewhat frustrated.
He explains that he has lost his motivation and is stuck in a rut that he cannot seem to break out of.
Gotts asks you to leave him alone while he tries to recover from his slump.
While Gotts is depressed, you cannot order construction projects. You need to try to improve his mood by giving him gifts.
Gotts likes Honey (+9 FP), Apples (+9 FP), Oranges (+9 FP), and Lumber (+9 FP). After some time, his friendship and mood will improve.
Restoring Gotts’ Motivation
After reaching at least 6 friendship notes (150 FP), return to Gotts’ house between 1:00 PM and 10:00 PM on a sunny day in Autumn.
Gotts will tell you that his motivation has finally returned and apologize for making you worry. After that, you can once again order construction projects from his shop.
If Gotts has fewer than 4 friendship notes, he will lock the front door of the Workshop at 7 PM.
After reaching at least 4 friendship notes, he will leave the door unlocked until 8 PM.
You can also enter Gotts’ Workshop between 8 PM and 10 PM after reaching at least 8 friendship notes with him.
