The curse on Cursed Tools can be removed permanently, transforming them into Blessed Tools.
Each Cursed Tool has a different requirement for removing its curse.

To bless a Cursed Tool, visit the Church on Monday or Wednesday between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, then ask Carter to bless the tool. Each blessing costs 1,000 G.
In the original GBA version, the requirements for transforming a Cursed Tool into a Blessed Tool were to use the tool 255 times, keep it equipped for 10 consecutive days, or ask Carter to remove the curse 10 times.
Using a Cursed Tool consumes a large amount of Stamina. However, once it has been transformed into a level 6 Blessed Tool, it becomes much more efficient to use.
