Enter Rose Plaza and you will see Cliff collapse in the middle of the plaza. He mutters that the white snow reminds him of the day he left his hometown.
Cliff then drops a photograph on the ground. You pick it up before going to the Inn to ask for help.
You ask Ran, Carter, and Dudley to help carry Cliff to the Clinic. Doctor is glad that you found Cliff before something bad happened.
He asks Cliff to stay at the Clinic for a while and tells everyone to go home.
Cliff will stay at the Clinic for 3 days. After that, he will return to his normal schedule. The Clinic’s front door remains locked on Wednesday morning, and Doctor will return around 11:00 AM to see visitors.
Returning Cliff’s Photograph
Since Cliff’s photograph is still in your possession, you can choose to return it to him. You can do so while Cliff is still resting at the Clinic or after he is back on his feet.
When you return the photograph, Cliff explains that it shows his sister and mother.
Cliff did not like living in his hometown, so he left to travel and abandoned his sister and mother.
When he eventually returned, he discovered that his mother had passed away. Cliff does not know what happened to his sister.
After that, he wandered from town to town alone until he eventually arrived in Mineral Town.
Unfortunately, the place reminds him of his hometown. Cliff then thanks you for finding his photograph, and you will gain +20 FP with Cliff.
The photograph cannot be given as a gift to anyone else and cannot be sold through the Shipping Bin or at Huang’s Shop.
