His family has been involved in the medical field for several generations. His father was a doctor, while his mother was a nurse.
When he was young, his parents were busy working at the hospital, so he often felt lonely. He began to resent their work and rebelled against his parents.
Now that he has a job in the same field, Doctor has a better understanding of what his parents went through and the various challenges faced by those who save lives. He also realizes how foolish he was when he rebelled against them.
Doctor apologizes for burdening you with his regrets and then heads home.
