Fetch Fest (SoSFoMT)

Fetch Fest is a frisbee-catching competition for pets. On the morning of Summer 1, Zack will visit your house and ask whether you would like to participate in the festival. If you have more than one adult pet, you may choose which one will compete.

Only pets that have reached adulthood before the end of Spring are eligible to participate. If you do not have a qualified pet, you will be unable to enter the festival and may continue your normal farming activities instead.

Visit Mineral Beach between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM to attend the festival. Speaking with the villagers in attendance grants +5 FP with each character.

Frisbee Competition

If you register a pet, speak with Zack to begin the competition. In this mini-game, you must throw a frisbee as far as possible and have your pet successfully catch it.

You are given two attempts to record your best throwing distance. Your score is determined by the longest successful catch made by your pet.

If you finish in first place, you will receive:

• +20 FP with all villagers attending the festival
• A Power Berry on your first Fetch Fest victory

Fishing During the Festival

Time stops while you are inside the festival area. As a result, Fetch Fest is an excellent opportunity to fish in the ocean without consuming in-game time.

However, although fishing during the festival does not consume stamina, your Fishing Rod will not gain any EXP from these fishing attempts.

Tips

• Make sure your pet reaches adulthood before Spring 31 in order to participate.
• Train your pet regularly before the festival to improve its frisbee-catching performance.
• Win the festival at least once to obtain the Power Berry.
• Do not forget to speak with all the villagers in attendance to earn additional Friendship Points.
• Take advantage of the frozen time during the festival to fish in the ocean and collect fish without using stamina.
• If your goal is to level up your Fishing Rod, fishing during Fetch Fest is not effective because it does not grant EXP.
