Mochi Bonanza (SoSFoMT)

The Mochi Bonanza is a New Year’s festival that becomes available starting in Year 2. On the night of the festival, the residents of Mineral Town gather at Rose Plaza to pound and enjoy mochi as a symbol of their hopes for good fortune and prosperity in the coming year.

Speaking with the villagers in attendance will grant +5 FP with each character. Once you have finished interacting with everyone, speak to Mayor Thomas to begin the festival.

After the festival starts, you will join the villagers in enjoying mochi before automatically returning home. If you have at least one empty slot in your rucksack, you will receive several pieces of Mochi as a festival gift.

Tips

• Make sure your rucksack has at least one empty slot before attending the festival so you can receive the Mochi reward.
• This festival is an excellent opportunity to increase Friendship Points with many villagers at once.
• Since it is only available from Year 2 onward, take advantage of it to accelerate relationship growth with the townspeople in later years.
