You enter the back room of the General Store and are greeted by Jeff and Sasha.
The three of you start chatting until Sasha hears someone calling from the front of the store. She goes to see who it is and returns with Huang.
Huang introduces himself as a traveling merchant and then asks Jeff if he paints. Jeff confirms that he does, but only as a hobby.
Huang explains that he happened to see one of Jeff’s paintings and was very impressed. He then asks if Jeff would be willing to sell his paintings.
At first, Sasha thinks Huang’s offer is just a joke. However, Huang says that Jeff has incredible artistic talent, which helps Sasha calm down a little.
Sasha then asks how much Huang is willing to pay for a painting.
Huang thinks for a moment before offering 10,000 G for each painting. Sasha is quite satisfied with the price and is willing to sell the paintings to the merchant.
Jeff, on the other hand, is not very enthusiastic. He tells Huang that his paintings are not for sale. Huang and Sasha both wonder why Jeff is not interested in making money from his artwork.
Jeff explains that he does not paint for money. He paints because it is what he feels in his heart.
To him, selling a painting would be like selling a piece of his heart. Although the deal could have been a good business opportunity, Huang understands what Jeff means.
He withdraws his offer and leaves the General Store.
After Huang leaves, Sasha praises Jeff for loving what he does so much.
