When you leave your farmhouse, you see Daryl quietly making his way toward the forest. Curious, you decide to follow him.
Near the Goddess Spring, Daryl appears to be searching for something. After scolding you for startling him, he explains that he has heard rumors about a mysterious creature wandering through the forest.
Daryl is convinced that if the rumors are true, he must capture the creature and use it as the subject of his research.
While Daryl continues explaining his plan, a friendly, furry creature quietly appears behind him. The creature notices your surprised expression.
When Daryl turns around, he finally comes face to face with the creature he has been searching for—Mukumuku. Startled, the two of them immediately run off in opposite directions.
