When you enter the laboratory, you find Daryl pacing back and forth while talking to himself.
He seems frustrated and wonders how his research could have been leaked, even though he believes he has kept it hidden from spies all this time.
Your arrival startles Daryl. He even accuses you of being a spy who has come to steal the secrets of his research.
Daryl then explains that someone in town is selling a counterfeit Seed Maker based on his invention. He is convinced that his idea has been stolen.
After thinking for a moment, Daryl comes up with a way to prove that his invention is far superior.
He decides to give you the original Seed Maker so everyone can see its quality compared to the version being sold in town.
After the event ends, the Seed Maker will be installed beside the storage shed. This machine can turn one crop into 2 bags of seeds of the same quality as the original crop.
Note: The Seed Maker normally costs 30,000 G and only becomes available to order from the ledger after you have earned 100,000 G and spoken with Takakura. By triggering this event, you can obtain the Seed Maker for free without purchasing it.
Tip: Daryl loves fish. Giving him two fish every day is a quick way to raise his FP until you meet the requirement for this event.
