Mugi is one of the characters who can be encountered in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town (SoS: FoMT).
He is the owner of Yodel Ranch, where you can purchase various livestock such as cows, sheep, and alpacas to raise on your farm.
As an experienced rancher, Mugi has spent most of his life managing the ranch and taking care of his animals.
His expertise has made him the person trusted to handle the various animal festivals held in Mineral Town. If you want to win an animal competition, you must make sure your animal is capable of impressing Mugi as the judge.
Behind his life as a rancher, Mugi has a rather complicated family situation. His daughter, Joanna, left Mineral Town many years ago and only returned after about ten years.
However, she did not return to settle down. Instead, she left her daughter, Mei, in Mugi’s care before leaving town again.
Mugi is disappointed by Joanna’s decision to leave Mei behind. Even so, he never shows his frustration in front of his granddaughter.
Instead, Mugi does his best to be a dependable family member and provide Mei with a happy life.
Having cared for Mei since she was a child, Mugi loves his granddaughter dearly. Even if Joanna decides to return to Mineral Town someday, Mugi does not want to be separated from Mei, whom he has come to regard as his own daughter.
