Seven Nature Sprites live in a hut located at the end of the path next to the Church. The hut can be accessed every day from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Nature Sprites are helpers of the Harvest Goddess who enjoy helping with farm work. As your relationship with them improves, you can ask them to help with various tasks on your farm.
There are seven Nature Sprites living in the hut:
If one of the Nature Sprites is involved in a specific event outside the hut, such as the Preserved Flower or Pregnancy event, the hut’s door will be locked and cannot be accessed until the following day.
Working on the Farm
Hiring a Nature Sprite is quite simple. Talk to one of them and select the Ask for Help option.
A Nature Sprite with at least 3 Friendship Notes will offer to help with farm work, such as:
- Watering crops
- Harvesting crops
- Caring for livestock and poultry
- Feeding
- Brushing animals
- Collecting and shipping animal products
After selecting a type of work, you can choose a duration of 3, 5, or 7 days.
The following day, the assigned Nature Sprite will arrive at the farm at 6:00 AM and work until 6:00 PM. They will not work when it is raining, snowing, or during a storm.
The crops and animal products they collect will be placed directly into the Shipping Bin and shipped when Zack collects the items in the afternoon.
If you want to keep a specific product, such as Milk S, make sure to take it first before the Nature Sprite starts working.
You can increase your Friendship Point with the Nature Sprites by giving them gifts they like, such as:
- Honey (+500 FP)
- Flour (+500 FP)
- Colored grass that matches their outfit (+500 FP)
For example, Mint likes Green Grass, while Cherry likes Red Grass.
The more often a Nature Sprite performs a particular task, the higher their skill in that task becomes. Each Nature Sprite’s skill levels can be viewed through the Relationship menu.
No Nature Sprite is naturally better than another. Their skills are determined entirely by work experience. The more often they perform a particular task, the faster and more efficiently they complete it.
Mini-Games
In addition to helping on the farm, Nature Sprites can also gain EXP through mini-games. You can play one mini-game per day with each Nature Sprite, as long as they are inside the hut.
A Nature Sprite will gain EXP if their final score exceeds the target set at the beginning of the game.
The more often you play the same mini-game with a particular Nature Sprite, the higher the score target becomes. See the table below for details:
| Games Completed per Sprite | Water Crops | Harvest Crops | Care for Livestock |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1–2 | 9 Points | 2 Points | 10 Points |
| 3–5 | 12 Points | 3 Points | 15 Points |
| 6–8 | 15 Points | 4 Points | 20 Points |
| 9–10 | 18 Points | 5 Points | 30 Points |
| 11–13 | 21 Points | 7 Points | 35 Points |
| 14–16 | 24 Points | 9 Points | 45 Points |
| 17–19 | 27 Points | 10 Points | 55 Points |
| 20+ | 30 Points | 11 Points | 60 Points |
The higher the target score they achieve, the more work EXP the Nature Sprite will gain. Conversely, if the final score does not meet the target, they will lose a small amount of EXP for that task.
The highest score ever achieved in a mini-game will be recorded in the Records Book found on the bookshelf in your house.
Water Crops
Water Crops is a memory-based mini-game. The game board consists of 25 plots of soil that light up in a specific sequence when the game begins.
After the pattern is shown, use the directional buttons to move the Nature Sprite and water the plots in the same order as shown previously.
If the plots are watered in the correct order, crop sprouts will appear. However, if you water the wrong plot or do so out of order, the soil will remain wet but will not produce a sprout during that round. The game will continue until the correct sequence is completed.
You have 25 seconds to complete three rounds of watering patterns.
The final score is calculated based on the number of plots successfully watered and the number of bonus sprouts that appear. Conversely, watering plots in the wrong order will reduce your score.
Harvest Crops
Harvest Crops is a rhythm-based mini-game. In this game, the Nature Sprite must harvest as many Turnips as possible within 60 seconds.
Once the game begins, repeatedly press the A Button at a steady rhythm to pull Turnips from the ground.
If the button is pressed too quickly, a sweat bubble will appear above the Nature Sprite’s head. If this continues, the Nature Sprite may lose their balance and fail to pull up the crop.
Once time runs out, the score is calculated based on the number of Turnips successfully harvested, minus the number of failed attempts.
Reaching the target score will give the Nature Sprite EXP to improve their Harvest Crops skill.
Since the most important thing is meeting the target score, you do not need to harvest as many Turnips as possible. Once the target has been reached, you can let the remaining time run out until the game ends.
Care for Livestock
Care for Livestock is a mini-game that requires the Nature Sprite to feed chickens within 60 seconds.
The goal is to fill the feed troughs at the right time. You will earn points each time you successfully fill an empty feed trough.
Conversely, the following two actions will count as mistakes:
- Filling a feed trough that still contains food.
- Allowing a chicken to leave the play area because its feed trough has been empty for too long.
To fill a feed trough, use the left and right directional buttons to move the Nature Sprite into the desired position, then place feed into the empty trough.
The final score is calculated based on the number of successful feeding actions minus the number of mistakes made.
Reaching the target score will give the Nature Sprite EXP to improve their skill at caring for livestock.
Additional Information: You do not have to feed all five chickens at the same time. Allowing one or two chickens to leave the play area can make the feeding rhythm easier to manage, allowing you to focus more on the remaining chickens.
