Duke is one of the characters who can be encountered in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town (SoS: FoMT). He is the owner and manager of Adge Winery, a winery well known in Mineral Town.
Most of his time is spent tending to the vineyard and producing various beverages sold at his winery.
Because of his busy schedule, Duke is often seen working rather than relaxing with his family.
Duke has lived in Mineral Town all his life and has fairly close relationships with many of the villagers.
He is known as a hardworking man, but he also has a habit of enjoying too many of the beverages he produces himself.
This often causes Manna to scold him whenever she discovers that Duke has been secretly sampling fermented drinks that he should not be consuming excessively.
Behind his stubborn attitude, Duke actually cares deeply about his family. However, his relationship with his daughter, Adge, is not a good one.
After a major argument in the past, Adge decided to leave Mineral Town and never returned.
Manna often blames Duke for their daughter’s departure, especially because she believes his bad habits contributed to the conflict.
Although he rarely talks about it openly, Duke still carries deep regret.
Even the name Adge Winery was taken from his daughter’s name as a sign of his love and a reminder of his family, who have been separated.
Although he is not good at expressing his feelings, Duke still hopes that one day Adge will return to Mineral Town and repair their relationship.
